A draw is always more satisfying when you go behind, It's important not to lose to the sides around you, and it keeps the unbeaten run going. So yes, a point was okay.

Reasonably satisfied . Given the circumstance
Mario not super but an okay start in the prem.
Kouyate played better obviously the bang on the head helped
Good game from Noble
Indeed the whole team put in shift tonight
Although Henandez should have headed home (perhaps in more than one sense)

Be interesting to see if anyone comes in. Hopefully this was the floor on the injury front.

We've struggled all season at 'home'..

Under NORMAL circumstances I wouldnt be happy with drawing at home tor these two bob south mugs....

But I thought that was okay..didn't fold..every player gave his all..and some decent shows.

Mario is a tidy player..like what I saw...kouyate put a shift in..and Noble was the kingpin.

Listen..we are an average top flight club with our BEST players on parade..our best players are AWALL..therefore you have to adknowledge the effort..

I understand Ernie 's frustration. .draw at home to these is on the face of it ..pony..but it's where we are right now.

A lot of bods angry..and only one bod to blame for that

I was delighted when I saw Tomkins on the Palace teamsheet as he always has a mistake in him and he duly obliged.

We need 13 pts from 13 games to hit the magic 40, not that I think that many will be needed. I can't see us being in any danger with Moyes's defensive attitude.

Shame that the Dildo brothers are too tight to get us to the 'next level'.

Maybe Noble is probably trying to get him to come here considering he is just a sub at Palace now. Over 30, had a few injuries, should fit in well!!!

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Crystal Palace - Official Match Thread 1-1
What was all that going on with Noble and Cabaye hugging like long lost brothers very strange

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Crystal Palace - Official Match Thread 1-1
Kouyate got a spurt on cos mario's turned up. He's still pony though.
We need to beat the Brighton piers on Saturday and get a fuckin move on. Need 2 wins lively to creep up the table a bit.
Let's hope the sick bay's emptying out a bit as well.

Well I guess that point makes the cup exit worthwhile. If we’d have tried to have a go at Wigan, we’d have never got anything tonight.

I also spent the evening with a Palace fan who felt that was just about their best team.

Ern

You claim nine out of the eleven were first choice but ignore that Reid, Arthur, Obiang, Arnie, Antonio and Lanzini were missing.

It’s boring reading this bias agenda based nonsense all the time.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Crystal Palace - Official Match Thread 1-1
we only had 1 striker

which is 1 more than we normally do

Haksa, Quina or Martinez could have come on.

It’s going to be a long and arduous end to the season.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Crystal Palace - Official Match Thread 1-1
If only we could have picked them out of the part of the crowd with Lanzini, Arnautovic, Antonio & Carroll in.
We had one striker. Basically because we have one fit striker

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Crystal Palace - Official Match Thread 1-1
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we were good, but under the circumstances I thought it would probably be worse than it turned out to be.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Crystal Palace - Official Match Thread 1-1
How many attacking players could we actually muster?
Look at the team this way.

ginge- centre back
oggy- centre back
cresswell- full back
byram- full back
zabaleta- full back
rice- defender/defensive midfielder
Noble- defensive midfielder
Kouyate- defensive midfielder

Then Hernandez who does basically fuck all except goalhang- certainly doesn't do much creative, and Joao Mario, who was playing his first ever premier league match.

Every other player we had was a defender or a defensive midfielder. How are you going to play an attacking game when you only have those options available, and a bench full of teenagers? We didn't even have a big striker to lump it up to.

Not sure exactly what you expect in the way of free flowing attacking play if that's the line up you have to go with.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Crystal Palace - Official Match Thread
